Case study · PackageX

PackageX’s marketing team went from week-long page requests to same-day launches

We rebuilt PackageX’s Webflow site as a component system their marketing team could run, then brought their paid landing pages onto it.

The challenge

A website marketing couldn’t touch.

PackageX’s marketing team had campaigns to run and a website they couldn’t touch. The Webflow site had been built page by page, with no reusable components and a CMS that had become a mess. Developers owned it, so every new page needed an engineering ticket and took about a week.

Paid campaigns ran on a separate tool. The landing pages lived in Unbounce, away from the main site, so the brand, the pages and the results were split across two systems.

A week per page meant campaigns launched late. Engineering time went to marketing requests instead of product, and paid traffic landed on pages the team couldn’t easily improve.

The approach

Four decisions that put marketing in charge.

Every decision came back to one goal: let marketing ship without waiting on engineering.

01

Reusable components, not one-off pages.

The page-by-page build was why every change needed a developer. With components, marketing could assemble a new page from sections that already looked right.

02

A CMS built around real updates.

The old setup was hard to navigate and easy to break. We structured it around the content the team actually updates, so routine changes stopped needing engineering.

03

Marketing owns the website.

Ownership was the real bottleneck. Once marketing ran the site, they could publish the same day without a ticket.

04

Paid landing pages on the same site.

We moved the PPC pages from Unbounce into Webflow and optimised them for conversion. With ads, landing pages and site in one place, the team could test and adjust quickly.

The results

Same-day launches and a record month for paid leads.

Operational

Publishing a page went from about a week, through an engineering ticket, to the same day, done by marketing. PackageX had 28 pages live within the first 3 weeks.

Business

Paid leads rose from 60 to 105 a month within 2 months of moving the PPC landing pages into Webflow. That’s a 75% increase and the company’s highest at the time.
